CCSA’s Pillars of Service
CCSA leverages the collective buying power of Canada's independent communications companies to deliver cost savings, advocates on its members’ behalf and provides opportunities for information sharing.
-
Cost Savings: CCSA negotiates contracts and administers wholesale payments on behalf of our members for more than 400 Canadian and non-Canadian (including US) video programming services. Members submit monthly reports and pay for their programming services through our proprietary and cost-effective Single Point Billing system.
-
Advocacy: Working with key decision-makers, CCSA promotes the broadcasting/video distribution interests of independent communications providers as a vital part of Canada’s communications system. We present a strong, unified voice to the regulator/government to ensure the views of our members are part of the conversation. We also campaign to protect members from unproductive policies and costs that could have unintended consequences.
-
Information Sharing: CCSA creates forums and opportunities for members to network and share information - both in person and virtually. We provide critical information to members on developments in the industry and in the world of regulatory/government and gather input from members about their business/issues/vision so we can best serve their broadcasting/video distribution needs.
